Our clients purchased this redundant village hall with a view to converting
to a home.

Despite fierce initial opposition from the Local Authority planning department, planning permission was achieved for the scheme through close liaison with that authority and what was noted by the planning officer to be ‘an exemplary submission and proposal’.

The scheme incorporated underfloor heating. The thermal efficiency of the conversion is such that although the floor area is in excess of 500m.sq we are advised by our clients that heat loss is minimal and energy costs are no more than would be expected of a modern four-bedroom family home.
