Alun worked for several London-based architectural practices between 1985 and 2015, on projects such as J.P. Morgan Bank (London),  and developments for major UK retailers. 

Before joining Catalina Architecture, Alun worked for Ceredigion County Council as a Development Management Officer (Planning Officer) where he developed an enthusiasm for historic buildings, and dealt with Planning and Listed Building applications for iconic buildings such as the National Library and the Old College (Aberystwyth).


Glyn Williams

Senior Architectural Technician 

B.Sc.(Hons) Architectural Technology - First Class

Having worked with the Local Authority for many years, Glyn obtained a first class degree in Architectural Technology in 2010, whilst working with Ceredigion County Council’s Architect's Department. He has worked on many new build and refurbishment educational and domestic projects and has extensive experience of technical design in this field.

Having studied architecture following five years in the Royal Navy, Rory qualified as an Architect in 2001.  Areas of particular interest include historic building conservation and contemporary, innovative, design.  

Zeta Shekhawat

Zeta has worked in practice undertaking both contemporary and historic architectural projects, including interior design, furniture design and branding. Zeta’s key interest lies in place specific contemporary architecture.

Since April 2013 Zeta has worked with Catalina Architecture, qualifying as an Architect in 2015. 



Lyndsey Wheeler

Practice Manager

B.Sc.(Econ) Business & Management (University of Wales, Aberystwyth)

After completing a ‘Bachelor of Economic and Social Studies in Business and Management’ degree in 2007, Lyndsey became Showroom Manager for a local business. She
then held a position as advertising officer for a regional newspaper, before becoming Duty Manager at The Cambria - managing conferences, offices, and student accommodation.

As Practice Manager for Catalina Architecture + Design, Lyndsey makes full use of her skills whilst continuing to train in business management and accountancy. 

Dafydd Morgan

Architectural Technician

B.Sc.(Hons) Architectural Design & Technology

Dafydd gained a degree in Architectural Design & Technology at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the summer of 2020, and joined Catalina Architecture + Design in September 2020.

His architectural interest lies in working with various CAD software, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and technical design. Dafydd’s aspirations for future years include becoming a chartered member of Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), and expand his knowledge in different aspects of architecture, such as the conservation of historic buildings and sustainable design.

Rhys Lewis

Architectural Technician

HNC Building Technology


Rhys trained as an Architectural Technician at Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology, graduating in 2007.  

Rhys has worked on many new-build and refurbishment projects, including commercial and domestic sectors, and has extensive experience of technical design. 

Rhys joined the Catalina Architecture + Design Team in October 2021
